Epic Arts pioneered projects in China in 2001 and has since focused its work on China, South East Asia, and most specifically Cambodia. We believe that the arts are a tool with which to deal with issues surrounding disability, especially in countries in which people with disabilities rank as the lowest on the social and economic ladder. These countries have non-existent or embryonic programmes in the field of integration and very litte advocacy for people living with disability and the prejudices they face.
